Air Arabia Egypt unveils new Cairo to Istanbul flights, enhancing travel options between the two vibrant cities starting April 2, 2024.

Air Arabia Egypt is set to inaugurate direct flights connecting Cairo and Istanbul, beginning on April 2, 2024. This fresh route will facilitate travel between Cairo International Airport and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul, offering three flights per week. This initiative aims to provide travelers with an affordable and convenient way to discover the enchanting city of Istanbul.

Flight timetable for the Istanbul route, starting from April 2, 2024 (all timings are local):

• Flight E5 987 will depart from Cairo at 11:10 and arrive in Istanbul at 14:25 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The return flight, E5 988, will leave Istanbul at 15:20 and land in Cairo at 16:30, on the same days. Both flights will be operated using an Airbus 320 aircraft.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, stated: “We are glad to introduce our new non-stop flights from Cairo to Istanbul, marking another significant milestone for Air Arabia Egypt. This expansion aligns with our commitment to providing seamless travel options to our passengers.”

“The three weekly flights between Cairo International Airport and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport will not only strengthen connectivity but also cater to the growing demand for travel between the two cities,” added Al Ali.

With the introduction of the Istanbul destination, Air Arabia Egypt will now serve a total of 16 cities from its hubs in Cairo and Alexandria. This expansion includes routes to Sharjah, Bergamo, Muscat, Bahrain, Dammam, Gassim, Amman, Jeddah, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, Aljouf, Hail, Abha, and Jizan, enhancing its network to meet the diverse needs of its clientele.

The airline’s fleet comprises Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR planes, renowned for being the leading single-aisle aircraft globally. Passengers can look forward to a comfortable journey with spacious seating arrangements and a generous amount of legroom uncommon in economy classes. Additionally, the airline provides ‘SkyTime,’ a complimentary in-flight entertainment service that enables passengers to enjoy a broad range of content on their personal devices. The ‘SkyCafe’ menu offers a selection of snacks, meals, and sandwiches at reasonable prices, ensuring a pleasant travel experience.
