This Easter season, the airlines Iberia, Iberia Express, and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum will conduct 5,471 flights, marking a 7.69% growth from the previous year. From March 22 to April 1, the Iberia Group plans to offer over one million seats across various destinations. Paris tops the list with ten flights daily, followed by Rome with six, New York with three, Athens with a daily flight, and the Dominican Republic with four flights a week. Additionally, on March 28, extra flights are scheduled for the Madrid-Rome and Madrid-Athens routes, with two additional flights for each.

Aligning with the Easter holidays, the airline has chosen to kick-start the summer season earlier than the usual April commencement. This adjustment means that from Easter through October 30, travelers can select destinations including Tirana in Albania, the Croatian cities of Dubrovnik and Zagreb, Catania in Sicily, and Ponte Delgada in the Azores.

According to María Jesús Lopéz Solas, Iberia’s Commercial Director, “Easter is one of the periods of the year when the greatest number of trips are concentrated in just a few days, which is why we wanted to expand our offer to the most in-demand destinations, also giving our customers the chance to travel to the new destinations scheduled for the summer season.”

In the domestic market, the Canary Islands remain the top choice, with Iberia Express boosting its service with 96 extra flights and over 16,900 additional seats. The Balearic Islands will see a 12% increase in service, adding 50,000 seats and 18 more flights to Mallorca and Menorca, catering to the high demand.
