Foggy weather became a villain this Christmas in India

Many travellers’ plans to make the most of the Christmas holidays were got thwarted after dense fog sloped several airports in different cities in India during the weekend. Many flights experienced suspensions or diversions, leaving passengers stranded and turning vacation plans into a total dismay. Even on Monday morning, the blanket of confusion fog continued in different states. 

Agra, Amritsar, Delhi, Gwalior, Prayagraj and Jaisalmer in the morning hours of December 25^th was recorded with zero visibility, as per the information of the India Meteorological Department.  Also, the flights to and from the Hyderabad airport had to be sidetracked due to the poor visibility in the city.

Present predictions show that dense to impenetrable fog conditions will keep on blanketing few pockets of Haryana, Punjab and East Uttar Pradesh in the morning hours until December 27^th i.e., Wednesday.

Additionally, conditions related to dense fog are expected to continue in the morning hours in some sections over Odisha until Tuesday, and Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh until Wednesday. Also, similar foggy weather conditions will reign over the states like Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, and Tripura between Wednesday and Saturday, and over Punjab and Haryana from December 28-30.
