The festive season at Four Seasons Hotel Moscow is a view of the snow-covered Kremlin, an imaginary journey through Russia, “The City of Crystals” party at Quadrum restaurant on December 31, a family and friends reunion in the Royal Suite and abundance of festive impressions.

The legendary Christmas brunch at Four Seasons on December 2, 2021 is a perfect scenario to celebrate the long-awaited holidays with friends and family. Live music and panoramic views of the Kremlin and Manezhnaya Square will create a truly magical atmosphere. A team of chefs from Italy and Russia has prepared a variety of dishes that represent cuisines of various countries and continents: cold appetisers and fresh seafood on the table, oven-baked meat and fish, homemade pasta and risotto according to traditional Italian recipes, exquisite desserts, as well as fresh handcrafted mozzarella. On this day, the youngest guests of the brunch are welcome to visit a kids’ room with animators, toys, face painting and an exciting cryo show.

The talented Concierge team has created a selection of unique experiences for guests staying in Moscow in December 2021 and January 2022. These activities will take guests on a journey back to childhood and make them feel the very taste of delight during this magic festive season. The Concierge’s top recommendations are: performing at the skating rink on Red Square and taking an expert class in figure skating, experiencing private after hours visit to St. Basil’s Cathedral in the year of its 460th anniversary, admiring the Nutcracker ballet at the Bolshoi Theater, trying nostalgic ice cream waffle cup at the majestic GUM department store on Red Square, discovering premieres and new places of the vibrant art scene, including the newly opened House of Culture “GES-2”.

To enjoy the magic festive atmosphere, one shall visit the lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Moscow, which has transformed into a genuine winter fairy tale by art director Lidia Simonova and the Lid’s Eventhouse team. Guests of the Hotel can take an imaginary journey across Russia and its endless snow-covered landscapes, meet the family of bears and admire the mini-train running through the winter wonderland.

In December 2021, the Christmas market by the Pastry Chef and chocolatier Igor Melnikov will present an abundance of hand crafted desserts: cookies, marshmallows, stollen, bonbons and artisan chocolates bursting with rich and surprising flavours. All desserts can be purchased as a gift to take-away or served at the Silk Lounge, as well as paired with a festive tea ceremony.

New Year’s Eve at Four Seasons Hotel Moscow will take guests to the magic “City of Crystals,” located steps away from the Kremlin and overlooking the heart of Russia’s capital, shimmering with myriad lights. From the very first step, guests are invited to feel like the heroes of the imperial times. The highlights of the program are: ballet dancers and singers performing the finest musicals, dance-awakening DJ sets, magician performances, a raffle with amazing gifts by Four Seasons, Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, traditional plays and the wonders of virtual reality for kids.

The festive table on December 31, 2021 will offer a carousel of appetisers by the Italian chef Christian De Nadai: oysters and sea urchins on ice, tuna tataki with truffle ponzu, salmon and pancakes served hot, lobster salad with artichokes and black truffles, foie gras terrine paired with onion confiture. The first part of the culinary program will be crowned with Kamchatka crab salad with sturgeon caviar, and followed by a hot appetiser – ravioli with guinea fowl, complemented by white truffle and parmesan cream. Shortly before the chimes, guests will not only need to make a secret wish, but also decide on the main course of dinner – a choice will be presented: turbot with scorched pumpkin, langoustine and saffron bisque or tenderloin making up a trio with stewed ribs and mushroom-celery tart. Premium beverages – Cristal and Louis Roederer champagne – will be flowing all the celebration long. For dessert, a sweet Christmas ball made of chocolate and orange and flavoured with aromatic cinnamon will be served. Pastry Chef Igor Melnikov will also present each guest with assorted chocolate truffles and offer to taste a magnificent panettone.

Christian De Nadai, Executive Sous Chef of Four Seasons Hotel Moscow: “While creating the New Year’s menu, we were truly inspired by an idea of a gastronomic journey: we have combined the favourite tastes of the finest cuisines of the world from Mediterranean to Russian, added a handful of French culinary traditions and did not forget about a pinch of magical Asian spices.”

For those who appreciate a more secluded setting, the Hotel has created tailor made celebrations – in the Presidential and Royal suites. Here, a view of Red Square and its heart – St. Basil’s Cathedral – will appear in front of the guests at a full glance. Custom made menus by Christian De Nadai, festive decorations and a fireplace in the living room will create a truly warm atmosphere for a family reunion or a party to be remembered for a lifetime.

Presenting gifts and taking special care of the beloved ones is an essential part of each celebration. A gift certificate for visiting Amnis Spa may include individually selected spa rituals or a comprehensive modelling and rejuvenation program with five signature treatments by Biologique Recherche, Dr Burgener and Plathlone. Spend time by the pool under a glass dome to watch the leisurely snowflakes dancing in the winter sky. A visit to the Finnish sauna, hammam and whirlpool will make these moments truly relaxing, and the experts of Marcel Grateau beauty salon will complete a brilliant festive look.
