Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is thrilled to introduce Bar Takeovers, an exhilarating guest bartender series featuring acclaimed mixologists who are shaping the future of beverage innovation. This exciting initiative brings their visionary talent and exceptional craftsmanship to Vail, with each mixologist hosting multi-day activations at the Resort’s Remedy Bar.
Jerome Arribas, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, expresses the excitement about expanding The Remedy Bar’s cocktail program through these fantastic bar partnerships. Described as a local activation with a global perspective, Bar Takeovers celebrate the diverse international tastes of guests. The series showcases some of the hospitality industry’s most talented bartenders, highlighting innovations that push the boundaries of exceptional cocktail experiences.
The inaugural Bar Takeover kicks off on January 19, 2024, with Toronto’s Bar Pompette, ranked #15 in the 2023 World’s 50 Best Bars list. Known for its superb cocktail program inspired by French traditions and the seasons, Bar Pompette, meaning “tipsy” in French, brings Co-Owner Hugo Togni to join The Remedy Team for an evening of sophisticated and creatively imagined cocktails.
From February 15 to 18, 2024, Four Seasons Resort Vail welcomes celebrity bartender José Luis Leon of Mexico City’s Licorería Limantour, ranked #7 in the 2023 World’s 50 Best Bars. Established in 2014, Licorería Limantour is a pioneer in Mexico City’s craft cocktail movement, blending traditional and contemporary flavor-making techniques to create enduringly popular mixology.
On March 9 and 10, 2024, the Resort hosts Jonathan Yutzy, General Manager of Employees Only in New York City, one of the city’s most renowned speakeasies. Employees Only, opened in 2004, has gained a loyal following for its mysterious ambiance, New American fare, Eastern European touches, and pioneering cocktail classics.
The Bar Takeover series concludes from March 24 to 30, 2024, with Fifty Mils from Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, featuring bar manager Nicolas Castro. Situated in Mexico City’s posh Polanco neighborhood, Fifty Mils is celebrated for its cool gastrobar, frequented by stylish locals and international travelers alike, known for using local ingredients and artisanal techniques.
Each Bar Takeover event will be hosted at The Remedy Bar at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, open daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis.
