Peter Freed, a visionary real estate developer of Freed Developments declared about the Freed Hotel and Residences tower situated at Adelaide and Duncan, west of University. This $800M skyscraper will bring Katsuya by Sam Nazarian’s Disruptive Group by sbe and artwork representation by Takashi Murakami, the famous Japanese artist to Toronto. Designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, Chicago-based tall building experts well-known for the next tallest and most luxurious skyscraper of the world – Jeddah Tower located in Saudi Arabia, along with New York’s Central Park Tower, the project will have 100 five star luxury hotel rooms and 400 luxury condos with a first-rate Skybar and restaurant on the 63rd floor, and a 10,000 sq ft Katsuya Restaurant on the 2nd floor and boutique spa.  The well-known lifestyle hospitality company, Sam Nazarian’s sbe, that develops, brings about and operates superlative lounges, restaurants, and nightclubs, proudly announces the much-awaited opening of Canada’s first Katsuya restaurant, impending for long on the second floor of the Freed Hotel and Residences, anticipated to open in Fall 2028.
