From January 2021, Sri Lanka is all prepared to welcome international tourists once again. However, all travelers will have to go through mandatory 14 days quarantine, as per the Association of Tour Operators.

At present, Sri Lankan authorities are planning to introduce new rules in the face of the worst pandemic, Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said.

Also, he made things clear that tourists applying for visa online must specify the travel route and address of residence during quarantine.

With a registered guide, the vacationers who’ve passed quarantine successfully will be able to explore some of the attractions of Sri Lanka.

For foreign nationals whose stays more than 28 days, will be allowed to book any type of accommodation of their choice.
