Guests at Gloria Hotels & Resorts can now indulge in an upgraded golf and leisure experience with the recent reveal of the renovated five-star Gloria Serenity Resort and the inauguration of the new Gloria Golf Training Academy.
As part of a comprehensive multi-million euro renovation, the meticulous redesign of Gloria Serenity Resort, centered around guest happiness, includes the upgrading of all 367 rooms and villas. Additionally, several new à la carte restaurants, a bakery, an ice-cream parlor, and a kids club have been introduced.
The five-star hotel has added a second lobby featuring three sea-view terraces, and all rooms now boast new mirror TV systems for more spacious living areas. The upgrade also includes the incorporation of locker rooms with shower and dressing facilities for post-check-out use, as well as the installation of new modern gym equipment.
Yunus Özdemir, vice-chairman of the board at Gloria Hotels & Resorts, expressed excitement about the reopening of Gloria Serenity Resort after the extensive redevelopment, stating, “With the new gastronomy offerings, upgraded rooms and villas, and so much more, an already incredible stay at the resort has been enhanced further.”
In addition, Gloria Golf Club, a trailblazer for Turkish golf, has introduced the Gloria Golf Training Academy, the country’s first facility of its kind. PGA-qualified professionals and a dedicated physical performance coach will collaborate with each player to enhance every aspect of their game. The academy features 48 Trackman-equipped and six uncovered driving-range bays, along with 18 practice greens for putting, bunker play, and pitching.
The academy’s clubhouse houses Turkey’s first hi-tech putting centre, integrating PuttView, PuttView X, and Quintic technology. An on-site club-fitting centre, alongside a fully-equipped repair and customization workshop, is available to help players find and perfect their clubs. Golfers can also benefit from the guidance of a qualified golf psychologist, receive rules training from a DP World Tour-qualified referee, or use the private gym or golfers’ lounge facilities.
David Clare, director of golf at Gloria Golf Club, emphasized the importance of having world-class facilities and staff for golfers at any level. He noted the significant additions to the pre-existing practice facilities, leading to the creation of what is anticipated to be one of Europe’s premier golf academies.
