Goa reveals aspiring strategies for imminent tourist period

In an important growth to revitalize the spiritual segment and improve network between spiritual cities, Goa has revealed aspiring strategies for the imminent tourist period, beginning next month.

With a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between the administration and Temple Connect – an establishment working for revitalization and expansion of the temple network, Rohan Khaunte, Goa Tourism Minister said that the teamwork will create new opportunities for spiritual understandings.

Khaunte said that in the upcoming years, they will touch upon spiritual segments. A one-day meeting will
be organized with all the shareholders comprising local influencers among others in October. The minister said that they are also concentrating on increasing network between Uttara Kashi and Dakshin Kashi where Goa is a part of the latter. It will simplify the interchange of local and global visitors, interchange culture and traditions between diverse areas and develop the general spiritual understanding for tourists.

The preliminary stage of connectivity has highlighted Dehradun, Guwahati, Amritsar, Nashik, Kashi, Nagpur, and Varanasi for visitors.

The Tourism Division will also initiate wellness, homestays, food and revelries into this spiritual route.

The minister also said that Goa aims to deliver backing to Vasco, Panaji, Ponda, Margao, Mapusa and Bicholim for improving their charm as spiritual and traditional places.
