Goa Tourism got Magnified at Don Bosco College in Panaji

The Department of Travel and Tourism, Goa, Don Bosco College in Panaji, organized at the college Bicentenary Hall their yearly intercollegiate event Magnify. This was hosted on September 29 th , 2023. The event was arranged by the active and young duo of Annalee Britto and Logan Rodrigues, dressed in their old-style clothing.

Professor Vandana Patil presented the theme – Tourism and Green Investments. She threw light on the issue of climate change and its impact as well as the way targeted investment in sustainable tourism can assist in fighting against it. Cedric Silveira, the Principal, then delivered his speech to the gathering, heartening them up to create a brighter, better and greener future.

Director Joaquin Lobo mentioned that decision at the world stage marks them and fortified the students to study as well as write in terms of sustainability. The inaugural ceremony of Magnify came to an end with a cameo and performance by BBA Travel and Tourism students. Different teams from colleges all over Goa took part in the event. A separate team name was assigned to each team based on different world currencies.

Green Tour-biz connect was the first event in which the contestants displayed a short video regarding green tourism investment.
