Carnival Cruise Line revealed more details of Celebration Key the new exclusive destination on Grand Bahama designed to offer guests a key for unlocking their type of paradise

Today, Carnival Cruise Line is excited to announce that the internationally acclaimed musician Gwen Stefani will be celebrated as the godmother of its latest vessel, the Carnival Jubilee, during a special event in Galveston, Texas, on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Gwen Stefani, a recipient of three GRAMMY® Awards, has left an indelible mark on the music scene as a prolific songwriter, dynamic performer, the iconic lead singer of No Doubt, and a successful solo artist. Stefani has not only been a pioneer in music but also a fashion influencer, amassing numerous accolades including four MTV Video Music Awards, two Billboard Awards, an American Music Award, and a Brit Award, with over 60 million units sold globally. Additionally, she has made significant contributions to television as a seven-time coach on the Emmy®-winning NBC series The Voice.

Beyond her entertainment career, Stefani is lauded for her philanthropic efforts, particularly in supporting children’s initiatives.

Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, expressed her excitement about Stefani’s role as godmother of the Carnival Jubilee, highlighting Stefani’s alignment with the brand’s core values such as promoting diversity and inclusion, engaging in philanthropy, exhibiting leadership, and embodying the spirit of fun. Duffy looks forward to giving Stefani a memorable welcome at the celebration on February 24.

“I’m deeply honored to serve as the godmother for the new Carnival Jubilee,” Stefani remarked. “Carnival’s commitment to elevating the entertainment experience while supporting children’s causes and aiding military families and veterans is truly inspiring.”

The Carnival Jubilee, which embarked on its maiden voyage on Dec. 23, 2023, operates year-round from the Port of Galveston. As the third vessel in Carnival’s Excel class, it utilizes LNG technology and accommodates 6500 guests along with 1750 crew members.

The naming ceremony, exclusive to invitees, will take place aboard the ship, with a live broadcast segment available on Carnival’s Facebook page at 3:30 CST on Feb. 24.
