Recently, the LOGO of the Hainan Coastal Scenic Highway was officially unveiled by China’s Hainan Free Trade Port. Dubbed the “Pearl of the South China Sea,” the LOGO draws inspiration from Hainan’s distinctive elements, effectively capturing the essence of the Highway’s unique allure – its seamless integration with the sea. Opening its lanes on December 18, 2023, the Highway stretches across an impressive length of 988 kilometers, connecting 12 coastal cities and counties on Hainan Island. This expansive route encompasses approximately 84 sections, each showcasing diverse landscapes of nine major types. When viewed from above, the Highway resembles a necklace adorned with a string of scenic spots that grace the entire island.
According to the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television, and Sports of Hainan Province, the Highway has swiftly captured the attention of both domestic and international tourists since its inauguration. Along the Highway, numerous well-known attractions beckon travelers, such as the Wenchang Windmill Coast, Changjiang Shayutang Village, Wanning Zhengmenling Bridge, Danzhou Volcanic Coast, Ledong Yingge Sea Salt Field, Lingshui Xincun Harbour Fishing Row, Linggao Cape Park, Sanya Yalong Bay, Dongfang Yulinzhou, Qionghai Tamen Fishing Harbour, Chengmai Houchen Cultural Village, and many more.
