As spring approaches, signaling the advent of longer days, sunshine, and vacations, John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport is excited to announce its Summer Program for 2024. This program introduces a variety of convenient flight options to various destinations in Canada, the USA, and Europe. It also marks the start of a new regional connection to Air Canada’s worldwide network through a luxury motorcoach service linking Hamilton International with Toronto Pearson. Set to launch in May, the 2024 Summer Program includes flights operated by WestJet, PLAY, and Air Canada in collaboration with The Landline Company.

2024 Summer Program Highlights:

WestJet is set to broaden its domestic flights from Hamilton to Eastern Canada, including sought-after services to Halifax and St. John’s, alongside ongoing direct flights to Calgary and Orlando.

PLAY will continue offering affordable, direct flights up to seven times a week from Hamilton to Iceland, with easy onward connections to over 30 European cities such as Amsterdam, Dublin, Copenhagen, London, Paris, and the newly added destination, Split. This offers travelers the opportunity to extend their layover in Iceland into a multi-day stopover at no extra charge.

In a partnership with The Landline Company, Air Canada will provide six daily, year-round luxury motorcoach services from Hamilton International to Toronto Pearson. This service grants travelers access to Air Canada’s extensive global network, beginning their trip from Hamilton International for a hassle-free experience.

Cole Horncastle, Executive Managing Director of Hamilton International, highlights the diverse range of domestic and international destinations, emphasizing the convenience and simplicity of traveling through Hamilton International for family vacations, solo explorations, or weekend escapes. The airport boasts several traveler-friendly features, such as on-site convenient parking, an easy 200-step journey from curb to gate, and swift processing times at crucial checkpoints.

Travelers can also benefit from the airport’s online parking reservation system, saving at least 5% compared to drive-up rates by booking in advance at parking.flyhamilton.ca. With reserved parking, passengers can begin their journeys confidently, knowing their spot is secured upon arrival.

Hamilton International recommends arriving at least two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights to ensure sufficient time for parking, check-in, and security procedures.
