Today, a collaboration between Hard Rock International and Pointe Vista Holding Company was unveiled, revealing ambitious development plans for the upcoming Hard Rock Hotel at Lake Texoma and The Residences at the Hard Rock Hotel Lake Texoma. Scheduled to commence construction in March 2024, these facilities will be situated within the Pointe Vista development—a 2,700-acre master-planned resort community encompassing over 19 miles of shoreline. The expansive Pointe Vista enclave boasts a golf course, enclosed waterpark, family entertainment center, amphitheater, casino, and more. This substantial project is anticipated to generate over 9,000 employment opportunities in the region.

Projected for a grand opening in the second quarter of 2026, the Hard Rock development aspires to become a premier destination straddling the Oklahoma-Texas border, offering a seamless blend of natural beauty and a diverse array of resort amenities for global travelers. The location, catering to summer water activities, conventions, events, and year-round excitement, uniquely serves as the singular resort venue catering to North Texas and the entire State of Oklahoma with such a comprehensive assortment of offerings.

Todd Hricko, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Hotel Development for Hard Rock International, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled to expand our award-winning hotel portfolio and bring our distinctive brand of hospitality and entertainment to Lake Texoma and the Pointe Vista development.” Hricko extended gratitude to Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt for his support of the new development.

Governor Stitt welcomed the project, stating, “It’s my pleasure to welcome the development of the Hard Rock Hotel and Residences at Lake Texoma. This will provide even more opportunity for guests and global travelers to visit this beautiful area and create a huge economic opportunity for this community.”

Mark Fischer, CEO of Pointe Vista Holding Company, echoed optimism about the collaboration, noting, “Our collaboration will be a great success with Hard Rock International and a very positive contribution to the Pointe Vista community.”

The upcoming Hard Rock Hotel at Lake Texoma is poised to welcome guests and global travelers with its iconic guitar symbol at the main entrance. The property will feature 189 rooms, including 25 suites and 168 residence rentals. Boasting an 18,000-square-foot conference center and event lawn, the facility is well-suited for weddings, social events, and corporate functions. Additional amenities include an 11-acre Caribbean Bay water area with white sand beaches, a Rock Spa, Body Rock Fitness, Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club, conference center, rooftop bar, fine dining, all-day dining, a Rock Shop showcasing Hard Rock’s renowned merchandise, and more. The development is complemented by an onsite highly rated golf course and a 320-slip marina.

Lake Texoma, attracting nearly seven million visitors annually, plays host to numerous fishing and golf tournaments at the nation’s 14th-largest reservoir. This vibrant lifestyle resort ensures a music-filled atmosphere, catering to guests whether they are participating in bass wrangling or simply basking in the sun.

Tiffany Cooper, Chief Development Officer at Aimbridge Hospitality, a third-party management firm entrusted with overseeing the operations of the Hard Rock Hotel and managing the Hard Rock Residential Program, expressed excitement, stating, “We eagerly anticipate managing this property in collaboration with Hard Rock International, a company renowned for consistently expanding its horizons and exploring innovative approaches to offer guests extraordinary entertainment experiences.”
