As reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the depression, as of 08:30 IST on August 26th, 2024, was located at approximately latitude 24.1°N and longitude 74.0°E. This coordinates place the weather system about 60 km south-southeast of Udaipur in East Rajasthan, 180 km to the east of Deesa in Gujarat, and 180 km northeast of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

The movement of this depression is expected to result in heavy rainfall and strong winds across the affected regions. Residents and authorities in these areas are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions, as the weather conditions may lead to flooding and other disruptions.
