Today, Highgate revealed its assumption of management for several prominent establishments, namely Joule in Dallas and Le Meridien Central Park in New York City. Additionally, it will oversee the upcoming Amrit Ocean Resort in Singer Island, Monterey Beach Hotel, and the redevelopment of Bellevue Hotel Philadelphia, all set to open in 2024.

With a proven track record spanning over 30 years in the hospitality sector, Highgate is leveraging its expertise to make a significant impact in the luxury lifestyle sector. Noteworthy additions to its portfolio over the past two years include The Joseph Hotels in Nashville and Columbus, The Elser Hotel in Miami, Romer Neighborhood Hotels in New York City and Waikiki. The company is also expanding globally with Hotel Saint and Grosvenor House Suites in London, and Luxury Collection Hotels/Resorts in Peru – Palacio del Inka, Hotel Paracas, and Tambo del Inka, as well as Cascade Wellness Resort in Lagos, Portugal. With these recent additions, Highgate now operates over 8,100 keys in this premier category, with an additional 1,500 keys in development.

Each hotel under Highgate’s management will benefit from its institutional management platform, proprietary revenue and distribution strategies, unique marketing and programming capabilities, and a top-notch team. The company also provides value-added services through its in-house design and construction studio, LUCID, and its food and beverage division, TableOne Hospitality, in partnership with renowned Chef Michael Mina and restaurateur Patric Yumul. Highgate’s Marketing and Creative Group further supports its independent properties throughout the entire hotel lifecycle, solidifying its position as a leader in the luxury lifestyle space.

Arash Azarbarzin, CEO of Highgate, expressed, “The continued expansion of our luxury lifestyle portfolio is a reflection of a concerted effort to build the best team in the industry to operate world class hotels, create unparalleled experiences for guests and deliver exceptional returns for owners.” Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, he anticipates more exciting developments to share.

Following the appointment of Arash Azarbarzin as CEO in 2022, who brings over 40 years of leadership experience in luxury hotel brands, Highgate’s luxury and lifestyle division has experienced significant growth. Azarbarzin will lead the division, with support from Jeff Toscano, Executive Vice President of Luxury and Lifestyle, a recognized industry expert known for creating innovative and impactful hotel concepts. Highgate’s current portfolio in this pivotal segment boasts an award-winning collection of diverse properties, including The Newbury Boston, Park Lane New York, The Knickerbocker, Modernhaus, The Marker Key West, Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles and Alohilani Resort at Waikiki Beach.
