Hilton launches LXR Resorts in SE Asia with Umana Bali

Hilton, a leading global player in hospitality, has announced the inauguration of Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts, marking the brand’s inaugural resort in South East Asia. Umana Bali now joins the exclusive collection of LXR Hotels & Resorts properties, designed to celebrate the timeless pursuit of personal adventure in the world’s most captivating destinations, providing travelers with a fresh perspective on luxury defined by individuality and immersive local experiences.

Alan Watts, Hilton’s Asia Pacific President, underscored the importance of Umana Bali in the hotel chain’s strategy for expanding luxury services. This comes on the heels of the prosperous introduction of the LXR brand in Kyoto. Watts commented, “Given its highly desirable location and distinctive positioning, Umana Bali is poised to redefine luxury travel in Bali for a new era.”

Umana Bali, owned by PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk and managed by Hilton, introduces a distinctive experience to the island paradise. Johannes Suriadjaja, President Director, PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk, expressed excitement about collaborating with Hilton to introduce South East Asia’s first LXR property in Bali, a destination beloved by domestic and international visitors alike.

Perched on the southernmost tip of the island at Ungasan, Umana Bali offers breathtaking ocean views and features 72 luxuriously curated villas laid out in cascading terraces atop limestone cliffs, reminiscent of ancient rice paddy fields.
