Hong Kong Airlines resumes direct flights to Saipan, enhancing regional connectivity

Hong Kong Airlines is reintroducing its exclusive direct service to Saipan for its clientele. With flights operating twice weekly between Hong Kong and Saipan International Airports utilizing Airbus A330 aircraft, the revival of this route solidifies the carrier’s position as the sole local airline providing direct connections along this pathway.

Saipan, the capital and largest island of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), comprises 14 tropical islands. It boasts year-round sunshine, pristine waters, and a wealth of water sports opportunities. Saipan is also renowned for its diving havens and natural limestone caves, including the famous Blue Grotto. The idyllic white sandy beaches of Managaha Island on the western coast are often likened to a paradise, earning it the moniker ‘Lover’s Island’. Additionally, the historical significance of Banzai Cliff at the island’s northern tip, coupled with its breathtaking panoramic views where the sky meets the sea, is truly awe-inspiring.

Since its introduction in 2016, Hong Kong Airlines has consistently expanded its tropical island travel options for passengers through the Saipan route. The company is thrilled to resume operations on this route following its suspension at the close of 2019.
