Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) recently held a special ceremony to welcome the football team Inter Miami CF on their first trip to Hong Kong. This significant event highlighted the airport’s role in facilitating international cultural and sports exchanges, underscoring Hong Kong’s global connectivity and hospitality.
Among those in attendance were distinguished players from Inter Miami CF, including Lionel Messi, the renowned captain of Argentina’s World Cup-winning team. Messi was joined by fellow teammates Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suárez, all celebrated figures in the world of football, marking the event with star-studded presence.
The reception for the team was managed by a distinguished group of individuals, including Mr. Sam Wong, the Sports Commissioner from the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB).
