Hotelbeds and Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts forge exciting new collaboration

Hotelbeds, a member of the HBX Group, has announced its latest partnership venture by teaming up with Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. This collaboration aims to expand the presence of the Bahia Principe brand in both the Caribbean and Spain, leveraging Hotelbeds’ extensive distribution network spanning over 170 markets and catering to more than 71,000 travel buyers.

This strategic alliance includes the addition of 24 Bahia Principe hotels located in four countries: Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Spain, into Hotelbeds’ preferred portfolio. As a result, travel agents will gain access to a diverse array of accommodation options, ranging from idyllic beach getaways to all-inclusive resorts.

Carlos Muñoz, the Chief Commercial Officer of HBX Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Bahia Principe’s shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and providing travelers with exceptional choices and experiences. He emphasized that this collaboration enriches their extensive hotel portfolio, expanding the array of choices available to their customers and anticipating a positive impact on both companies.

Lluisa Salord, the SVP Global Sales, Contracting, and Distribution Grupo at Bahia Principe, emphasized that this consolidation of their existing agreements will bolster their joint efforts, fostering strength and growth.

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, renowned for its dedication to innovation and sustainable development, has embarked on a five-year strategic plan that emphasizes ongoing asset rejuvenation and technological advancements. As part of this initiative, the company is making significant investments in comprehensive renovations, such as the remarkable 30-million-euro refurbishment of the Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda, scheduled to open later this month.
