Hurghada busy with tourists once again

The white sandy seashores of Egypt’s Hurghada were busy with travellers with the country’s tourism segment witnessing a prosperity following years of slump because of pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Compared to the years before, now people can see throngs of tourists relaxing and lazing on the beaches of Hurghada, loving the warm rays of the sun and the unspoiled waters of the Red Sea.

Tourist attractions and streets in the seaside city were packed with tourists from diverse countries.

Many of these tourists assembled at restaurants and coffee shops, savoring drinks and freshly prepared food in the charming summer atmosphere they crave in their individual countries.

Employees in the tourism segment did not imagine that such a huge number of tourists would come to
Hurghada this year.

Tourism workers are of the opinion that this good period would make up for the damage of the earlier
three years, in the course of which the tourism segment had writhed significantly owing to the
pandemic in addition to the clash between Russia and Ukraine, which are among the major sources of tourists to Egypt.
