PriceTravel Holding, a major travel distribution platform in Latin America, has established a new direct connectivity partnership with Mangia’s Hotels & Resorts, bringing 12 resorts across Sicily and Sardinia into its international distribution ecosystem. The agreement will help the Italian hospitality group reach a wider base of leisure travellers from Latin America and other global source markets.

Through this collaboration, Mangia’s properties will gain exposure across PriceTravel Holding’s extensive travel trade network, which includes more than 16,000 affiliated travel agencies and over 28,000 active travel professionals. The company’s wholesale operations also connect hotel partners with demand from more than 180 markets worldwide.

The partnership supports Mangia’s ongoing international expansion strategy by creating stronger links between its Mediterranean resorts and travel sellers across key global markets. The newly connected properties will join a wider portfolio already distributed through PriceTravel Holding’s technology partnerships with leading hotel groups, including Hilton and Marriott.

Italy continues to represent an important destination within PriceTravel Holding’s international business. Demand for Italian accommodation increased significantly in 2025, with production rising 17.4% and generating more than US$5.1 million in sales.

Latin American travellers remain a major driver of this growth, contributing more than 75% of PriceTravel Holding’s total production to Italy. Colombia recorded the strongest expansion among source markets, with sales increasing 64.7% year over year to reach US$516,000.

Mexico maintained its position as the largest Latin American market for travel to Italy, producing US$3.4 million in sales during 2025. The performance reflects growing interest among long-haul travellers seeking Italian destinations for leisure holidays, cultural experiences and premium resort stays.

Italy has also become a key destination within PriceTravel Holding’s European accommodation portfolio. The company currently offers inventory across more than 1,900 hotels in the country and supports travel demand from over 16,500 passengers travelling to Italy each year.

The average daily rate for Italian accommodation reached around US$299 in 2025, highlighting the market’s strong value potential for hospitality companies looking to attract international visitors and increase revenue through global distribution channels.

New Connectivity Opens More Opportunities for Sicily and Sardinia Resorts

The latest agreement provides PriceTravel Holding with direct access to 12 Mangia’s properties located across Sicily and Sardinia. The portfolio includes four- and five-star resorts designed to serve a broad range of travellers, including families, couples, honeymooners and leisure visitors seeking Mediterranean experiences.

The resorts offer access to some of Italy’s most attractive travel experiences, combining coastal landscapes, local cuisine, wellness facilities and cultural attractions. By connecting these properties with PriceTravel Holding’s network, Mangia’s aims to increase visibility among international travellers searching for premium Italian holidays.

The integration will be powered through ERMES and SYNXIS connectivity solutions, allowing automated management of hotel rates, availability and reservations. This technology will support faster distribution and smoother booking processes across PriceTravel Holding’s global network.

The agreement also aligns with Mangia’s wider efforts to strengthen its international brand presence. In July 2026, Mangia’s Sardinia Resort became part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, expanding the group’s relationship with the global hospitality brand. The partnership follows the inclusion of Mangia’s Brucoli Resort in Sicily within the same collection.

With stronger digital connectivity and expanded access to international travel sellers, Mangia’s aims to position its Sicily and Sardinia resorts more prominently among global leisure travellers while supporting Italy’s continued growth as a leading destination for international tourism.

“Italy is an important destination within our international distribution network, and demand continues to grow across our source markets. This partnership with Mangia’s allows us to expand the range of Italian resort product available to our travel partners, while connecting Sicily and Sardinia with travellers across Latin America and other international markets,” said Rafael Durand, COO, PriceTravel Holding.

“Our partnership with PriceTravel Holding opens a new gateway to Sicily and Sardinia and strengthens our international distribution strategy. It allows us to connect our resorts with a broader network of travel professionals and international travellers looking for authentic Italian hospitality, extraordinary landscapes, gastronomy and distinctive experiences,” added Fabrizio Di Trapani, Commercial Senior Director at Mangia’s.
