Iberia and Iberia Express soar to the top as the most punctual airlines in Europe for 2023

In 2023, Iberia and Iberia Express stood out as the most punctual airlines in Europe. Securing the top position on the podium, Iberia Express demonstrated exceptional punctuality, with 84.58% of its flights arriving on time. Cirium’s On-Time Performance Report, a pivotal annual assessment of punctuality in the aviation industry, recognized Iberia Express as the fifth most punctual low-cost airline globally.

Meanwhile, Iberia claimed the second spot among Europe’s most punctual airlines and secured the fifth position globally. Impressively, 84.38% of Iberia’s 170,750 flights adhered to their schedules.

Punctuality has long been a hallmark of the Iberia Group, consistently ranking among Europe’s most punctual airlines and the top 10 globally for the past eight years. Iberia Express, since its launch in March 2012, has maintained a legacy of operational excellence, earning recognition as the most punctual low-cost airline globally for five consecutive years from 2014 to 2018, and as the most punctual in Europe in 2019, 2022, and 2023.
