IHCL expands presence unveils new Vivanta Hotel in Haridwar Uttarakhand

IHCL, India’s premier hospitality entity, revealed today the official agreement for a fresh Vivanta hotel located in the revered pilgrim city of Haridwar, Uttarakhand. This venture marks a significant Greenfield project for the company.

Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “This signing is in line with IHCL’s vision of augmenting its presence in spiritual tourism. Haridwar, located on the banks of the sacred river Ganges, is one of the holiest destinations in India. This will be our third hotel in the city. We are happy to associate with LD Ladhani Group for this hotel.”

Situated within convenient reach of the famed ‘Har Ki Pauri’ and prominent temples, the 125-key hotel boasts strategic placement. Its amenities include an all-day diner, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. Additionally, the hotel will provide a refined banqueting area spanning over 7,500 sq. ft, ideal for corporate functions and social gatherings alike.

Serving as the gateway to Uttarakhand’s revered Char Dham, it also serves as a starting point for exploring Rishikesh and Devprayag, popular tourist destinations.

With the introduction of this new establishment, IHCL expands its presence to 10 hotels in Uttarakhand under the Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands, with an additional 5 properties currently under development.
