IHCL secures deal for SeleQtions Hotel in Surat, Gujarat

IHCL, India’s leading hospitality company, has announced the signing of a hotel in Surat, Gujarat, marking a significant addition to its portfolio. The Greenfield project will bear the distinguished IHCL-SeleQtions branding.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, emphasized the strategic importance of this signing. she stated“This signing is aligned to IHCL’s vision to be present in key commercial cities across India. Surat is one of the major industrial hubs in the country. The recent upgrade of the Surat Airport to international status and its expansion will further boost the city’s economic growth. We are delighted to collaborate with Mr. Rishi Shah for this hotel.”

Strategically situated on the prestigious Dumas Road, the 175-key hotel offers convenient access to the airport and major business districts. Its amenities include an all-day diner, a specialty restaurant, and recreational facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness center. With an expansive 8000 sq. ft. banquet hall and multiple conference rooms, the hotel is poised to cater to diverse events and meetings.

Positioned along the banks of the Tapti River, Surat emerges as Gujarat’s second-largest city, celebrated as the ‘Diamond City of India’.

With this new inclusion, IHCL’s presence in Gujarat will extend to 23 hotels across brands like Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger, with four more in the developmental pipeline.
