IHG Hotels & Resorts, a prominent global hotel company, proudly announces the signing of its sixth property under the Vignette Collection brand in Thailand. Situated on Nai Yang Beach, this beachfront resort is set to become a part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ expanding Luxury and Lifestyle portfolio, which currently ranks as the second-largest in the world. This marks a significant stride for the Vignette Collection brand, aspiring to achieve 100 properties within the next decade.

Scheduled to open in 2028, the Phuket Nai Yang Beach, Vignette Collection, will be the third property under this collection in collaboration with Dinso Resort Co. Ltd. This addition follows the recent opening of Dinso Resort & Villas Phuket, Vignette Collection, and an upcoming Dinso Resort & Villas Koh Chang, Vignette Collection.

Saowarin Chanprakaisi, Senior Director, Development for South East Asia and Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts said“We’re delighted that our latest signing bolsters the strong pipeline for Vignette Collection to represent six Vignette Collection properties in Thailand. This shows the brand’s strong appeal to our partners, who are retaining the distinctive identities of their hotels, while benefiting from IHG’s global scale, Luxury & Lifestyle expertise, and powerful IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.

“IHG continues to grow in Phuket with eight open properties across six IHG brands, and another five in the pipeline. Having such a strong and broad presence in the market ensures we’re offering a wide range of stay experiences, catering to the needs of all travellers.”

Central to the Vignette Collection concept is the delicate balance between individuality and a sense of belonging. Each property within this family of like-minded hotels maintains its unique identity while collectively sharing a vision to provide a more authentic travel experience.

Chanprakaisi continues: “The successful brand debut of Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok in 2022, which has been making waves with guests through its ‘one-of-a-kind’ stays, followed closely by the recent opening of Dinso Resort & Villas Phuket, Vignette Collection have shown the appeal of the Vignette Collection brand for guests seeking distinct travel experiences in destinations to remember.”

Nestled on the southern tip of Nai Yang Beach, the Phuket Nai Yang Beach, Vignette Collection, will be conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and an hour from Phuket Town and Patong Beach. The property will offer 115 rooms and suites with stunning views of the Andaman Sea and nearby wildlife parks. Featuring eight spacious Presidential Suites, each measuring 200 square meters, the resort will also boast four restaurants, a rooftop bar, over 480 square meters of meeting spaces, a swimming pool, fitness center, and spa facilities.

Pattranit Mahattanawisit, Managing Director, Dinso Resort Co., Ltd said:“Converting to the Vignette Collection brand has made an impact to Dinso Resort & Villas Phuket, Vignette Collection and we look forward to working closely with the IHG team on three Vignette Collection properties in Phuket. Phuket has maintained its reputation and enduring appeal as one of the world’s top tourism destinations, while undergoing a rapid transformation to also be a leading location for domestic travellers.

“Increasingly, we see a desire for distinctive lifestyle-led experiences and unique services, which Phuket Nai Yang Beach, Vignette Collection will be poised to provide – a thoughtfully designed and sustainably developed boutique property, which will be one of the first internationally branded hotels in the area.”

The Phuket Tourist Association (PTA) aims to welcome 14 million international and domestic tourists by the end of 2023, surpassing pre-Covid levels. The island is committed to enhancing tourism through infrastructure projects, including the development of a second airport and improvements to land and air transport facilities, such as the construction of the 3.98km Kathu-Patong expressway and the 30.26km Muang Mai-Koh Kaew Kathu expressway.

Phuket Nai Yang Beach, Vignette Collection, will cater to those seeking proximity to the nearby Sirinat National Park – a conservation site for marine life featuring a three-kilometer-long white sand beach – and two championship golf courses.

As part of IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, the Vignette Collection offers the next generation of travelers unique stays in memorable destinations, enriched with authentically storied experiences.

In 2028, Phuket Nai Yang Beach, Vignette Collection, will join the global Vignette Collection portfolio alongside properties like Convent Square Lisbon and Casa da Companhia in Porto, Portugal, Yours Truly DC in the U.S., Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Valley in Australia, Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok in Thailand, and Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort. With 19 hotels in the pipeline, the brand is set to achieve a remarkable growth of 100 hotels within the next decade.
