Heart Aerospace, a Swedish hybrid-electric airplane manufacturer, declared about the report that it has raised a total of $107 million in Series B funding, highlighting important stepping stones to establish sustainable regional air travel.

The new round brings the total financing to $145 million, raised by Heart Aerospace from the time it started its operations. Among the new investors the names like Sagitta Ventures, an investor from Denmark origin aimed on early-stage companies. Other investors include are the names like Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Air Canada, EQT Ventures, European Innovation Council Fund, Norrsken VC, Lowercarbon Capital, United Airlines, and Y Combinator.

They couldn’t be more eager about this round, explained the co-founder, and CEO of Heart Aerospace, Anders Forslund. He said that this investment furthers their main aim of decarbonization and democratization of air travel. Billions of people all over the world are interested to get connected to this remarkable infrastructure over the next decade.

In the meantime, the industry by 2050 has been dedicated to net zero emissions. The only way to take this thing ahead is to decouple the huge growth in aviation from its emissions, and they believe ES-30 is the first stepping stone in doing so.
