India Witnesses Exceptional Hospitality Growth As Chalet Hotels Limited Sets New Records

India’s Chalet Hotels Limited reports its best-ever Q3 FY25 performance with record revenue growth, strong hospitality earnings, and strategic expansion.

Chalet Hotels Limited, a leading player in India’s hospitality and real estate landscape, has released its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025, concluding on December 31, 2024. The company has delivered its strongest quarterly performance to date, driven by substantial revenue growth, enhanced profitability, and multiple industry accolades that reinforce its market leadership.

The total consolidated revenue for Q3 FY25 surged to INR 4.6 billion, reflecting a 22% year-on-year increase from INR 3.8 billion in the same quarter of the previous year. This outstanding performance was largely propelled by the hospitality division, which generated INR 4.0 billion in revenue, marking a 17% rise compared to Q3 FY24.

The Average Daily Rate (ADR) witnessed an impressive 18% jump, reaching INR 12,944, while Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) grew 16% to INR 9,090. Despite a slight dip in occupancy levels from 71% to 70%, the company’s ability to optimize pricing strategies and enhance premium offerings contributed to strong financial gains.

The Rental and Annuity segment experienced a phenomenal 91% year-on-year revenue boost, reaching INR 577 million. This was further supported by the successful leasing of an additional 0.4 million square feet of commercial space during the quarter.

Chalet Hotels Limited also earned significant industry recognition, securing a spot among the top five hotel developers in India, as awarded by the Hospitality Horizon Awards 2024. Additionally, the company upheld its “Great Place to Work” certification for the sixth consecutive year, demonstrating its commitment to fostering a strong workplace culture.

Strategic Growth and Expansion Plans

With a clear focus on strategic development, the company has several key expansion projects in the pipeline:

• Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield – Plans to add 125-130 rooms, targeted for completion by Q4 FY25.
• The Dukes Retreat – Undergoing renovation and expansion, with 65 upgraded rooms expected to be ready by Q1 FY26.
• Major New Developments – The company is working on flagship projects, including the Taj at T3 Terminal, Delhi International Airport (385-390 rooms) and Hyatt Regency at Airoli, Navi Mumbai (280 rooms), both set for completion in FY27.
• Goa Leisure Hotel – A new addition to the company’s leisure portfolio, with project commencement scheduled for FY28.
