Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the leading hospitality group in South Asia, has revealed plans for a new resort in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This upcoming development will be a greenfield project under IHCL’s Gateway brand, further expanding its footprint in the region. The project underscores IHCL’s commitment to growing its presence in key religious and cultural destinations across India, aligning with Ayodhya’s growing significance as a spiritual tourism hub.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “Ayodhya, with its rapid infrastructure development, is emerging as a prominent destination on the spiritual circuit. This strategic partnership aligns with our commitment to expanding our footprint in emerging markets across India. The Gateway, Ayodhya, a 150-key resort, will serve as a spiritual retreat offering guests a blend of luxury and immersive experiences. Spanning 1.56 acres, the hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty eatery, and a stylish bar. For relaxation, guests can unwind at the swimming pool, fitness center, or indulge in the holistic spa. Additionally, the hotel will cater to events with a spacious banquet hall and dedicated meeting rooms, providing ample space for gatherings and conferences.
