Indian paradise Kashmir opens doors for tourists to visit valley

The tourism department in Kashmir has once again opened the doors for the tourists to visit the paradise Kashmir valley.

Commissioner secretary Tourism Sarmad Hafeez said there are no restrictions for the travellers to visit the valley, however, the already placed SOPs and guidelines have to follow by everyone.

There are no restrictions on any tourists wishing to travel to the valley. However, there are already Covid guidelines and SOPs in place which everyone has to follow.

Hafeez said since the situation is evolving, the government is monitoring the situation closely, and are taking appropriate measures accordingly.

Hafeez said the inoculation drive for the stakeholders drove a good response, and around 85 per cent of the people associated with the tourism industry have been vaccinated and the department is ensuring that every stakeholder associated with the tourism industry or has a direct interface with the tourists are immunized.
