Dani Brasserie at Four Seasons Madrid, led by Chef Dani García and sommelier Claudia Gozalbes, wins 2024 Wine Spectator award for its exceptional wine selection.
Located on the seventh floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, a hub of opulence and culinary finesse, Dani Brasserie has quickly become a premier dining destination in Spain’s capital. Under the guidance of celebrated Chef Dani García, the restaurant showcases a blend of neoclassical dishes paired with an exquisite selection of wines, curated to enhance the dining experience. The wine program, led by head sommelier Claudia Gozalbes, features a dynamic and expansive collection of 600 wines, earning Dani Brasserie the 2024 Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator, a respected global authority on wine culture for over three decades.
Wine Spectator annually honors outstanding restaurant wine programs across more than 70 countries with three levels of awards: the Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award. Dani Brasserie’s sophisticated wine list and its comprehensive representation of prestigious wine regions garnered it the Best of Award of Excellence. This accolade also acknowledges the restaurant’s excellence in wine presentation, list composition, and overall guest experience, celebrating establishments that display an exceptional dedication to wine service.
Claudia Gozalbes attributes the restaurant’s success to the principles of “prudence, patience, and perseverance.” This ethos is reflected in the Wine Spectator recognition, underscoring Dani Brasserie’s commitment to delivering an unparalleled dining experience with meticulous attention to wine selection and service. The featured wines span celebrated areas in Spain, France (including regions like Bourgogne and Champagne), and Italy, aiming to ignite enthusiasm for the wine culture.
This summer, Dani Brasserie introduces a new menu that echoes Chef García’s self-taught prowess and inventive culinary methods. The menu is complemented by an extensive wine list that includes both domestic and international selections from renowned regions like Alsace, Saint-Emilion, and Chablis, to name a few. Premium wines and champagnes available by the glass—such as Vega Sicilia and Château d’Yquem—are preserved using innovative systems like Coravin, ensuring optimal quality without opening the bottle.
Dani Brasserie invites guests to its prestigious location at Calle de Sevilla, 3, 28014 Madrid, open from Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 1:00 am, with an average cost of EUR 70 per guest.
