The interim budget presented by the respectable Finance Minister has preserved status-quo on direct and indirect taxes. Thereby, maintaining its effect unbiassed. The government has set the target on the travel and tourism industry in general through green energy, infrastructure development, sustainability and looked at miscellaneous enterprises regarding domestic tourism through tactical approach for every section – aviation, ports and rail to fortify local connectivity to tier 2 and 3 cities.
They welcome the growth and development on rapid expansion of air connectivity with the addition of 517 new routes all over the tier 2 and 3 cities of Regional India through the UDAN scheme. This will play the primary role in establishing accessibility.
Under the PM Gati Shakti initiative, the main aim is on consolidating domestic tourism through the execution of rail connectivity corridors and promoting 40,000 regular train boogies into Vande Bharat high speed trains will absolutely reinforce surface transportation.
The main plan of the Indian Government is to target on spiritual tourism, growth of more famous tourist spots and island destinations in the country including Lakshadweep and generate employment and thereby boosting economy of India.
