Jammu arranged India Travel Mart to boost up domestic tourism

Today, the leading B2B Travel & Tourism meeting, India Travel Mart, concluded at Jammu. This was arranged to boost domestic tourism.

For the travel trade sector, the first two days of this conclave were reserved and then it was open for all.

On the second day of the showcase, a special networking session for Travel Agents, Tour Operators from PAN India, and tourism officials from Jammu & Kashmir Tourism, India Tourism, Gujarat Tourism and Tamil Nadu Tourism was organized.

Top travel agents, tour operators took part from important markets like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Agra, and Rajasthan. They took part in the showcase and conclave and helped the participants to reach out to these proximity markets too.

To the India Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (Supporting State), Jammu & Kashmir Tourism (Supporting State), Gujarat Tourism (Partner State), Tamil Nadu Tourism (Feature State) and other participants including hoteliers, resorts, travel agents, tour operators, mementos and awards were presented.

As India Tourism grabbed the best stall award for showcasing tourism PAN India, Jammu & Kashmir Tourism grabbed the best stall award for displaying tourism information along with being a decorative stall, Gujarat Tourism got the best stall award for domestic tourism promotion and display, and Tamil Nadu Tourism got the best stall award for promoting culture, heritage, wildlife and cuisines.
