January splendor: Eight exclusive events radiate at Austin Convention Center in 2024

In January 2024, the Austin Convention Center kicks off a vibrant schedule with eight exciting events. These include the Central Texas Power League, Potato Expo, Austin Home Show, Brick Fest Live, Junior and Collegiate Volleyball, SXSW Crew Managers and Volunteer Calls, the SHI Showcase, and the TASA Midwinter Conference. Additionally, the venue is booked for a private business event.

The 2024 Central Texas Power League’s inaugural volleyball tournament is slated for January 6-7 at the Austin Convention Center, organized by Austin Junior Volleyball (AJV). This two-day junior girls’ volleyball event encompasses bracket play and power pools, spanning age divisions from 11 to 17.

From January 10-12, the Potato Expo 2024 will grace the Austin Convention Center, serving as a prominent annual gathering in the North American potato industry. Organized by the National Potato Council, the expo facilitates collaboration and discussion among suppliers, growers, exhibitors, and industry experts.

The Austin Home Show is set to captivate audiences from January 13-14 at the Austin Convention Center, featuring a diverse array of home improvement professionals, interactive displays, and exhibitors catering to homeowners and those passionate about updating their living spaces.

Simultaneously, Brick Fest Live invites individuals of all ages, including adults and children, Lego enthusiasts, and advanced builders, to the Austin Convention Center on January 13-14. Attendees will engage in interactive activities and marvel at impressive creations, life-size models, and imaginative sculptures.

Austin Junior Volleyball returns with three thrilling events from January 18-21 at the Austin Convention Center, including The Lone Star Classic 18s, the Southwest Boys Classic National Qualifier (12s-18s), and the Collegiate Challenge featuring intense matches with NCAA-ranked college men’s teams.

SXSW takes center stage with a Crew Manager Meeting and Volunteer Calls on January 21-22 at the Austin Convention Center.

The SHI 2024 Corporate Kick Off Partner Showcase is on the calendar for January 24 at the Austin Convention Center, highlighting SHI as a leading technologies hardware, software vendor, and service provider.

Finally, from January 27-31, the 2024 TASA Midwinter Conference on Education welcomes Texas school leaders, superintendents, curriculum specialists, administrators, and principals to the Austin Convention Center for a conference and exhibit hosted by the Texas Association of School Administrators.

Managed by the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD), a division of the City of Austin, both the Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are ready to host these diverse and engaging events.
