Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have just unveiled a substantial expansion of their offerings in Italy. They’re releasing thousands of additional seats for Italian destinations like Sardinia, Sicily, and Verona, covering both Summer 2024 and Summer 2025. This move is in direct response to the growing demand among customers for a taste of ‘La Dolce Vita.’
As the UK’s largest tour operator and the third-largest airline, they are boosting capacity across eight UK airports. This expansion will give both customers and independent travel agents an even wider array of choices when planning trips to these captivating Italian locales.
The expansion isn’t limited to just one season; it includes an extension of the summer season due to robust demand. Furthermore, there are new flights and vacation packages available for popular periods such as late Summer 2024 and Easter 2025.
Recognizing the allure of beach vacations, city breaks, and the cultural richness of Sicily, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are introducing new flights and vacation options for both Summer 2024 and Summer 2025. For instance, they’re extending the Summer 2024 season until mid-November by adding more flights to Sicily from Manchester and London Stansted.
Looking ahead to Summer 2025, they’re offering additional April flights to Sicily from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, and London Stansted—just in time for Easter. Late Summer 2025 will also see extra November flights to Sicily from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted.
Sardinia, known for offering an authentic Italian experience and ranking high on many travelers’ European bucket lists, is also getting attention. Late Summer 2024 will see more September, October, and November flights from Manchester Airport, along with additional November flights from London Stansted.
Summer 2025 to Sardinia is being extended with a range of flights from April, perfectly aligning with Easter, from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted Airports.
Verona, another Italian gem, is the third destination seeing increased capacity. In addition to its romantic medieval city setting tied to Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, it provides access to the stunning Lake Garda.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are adding more flights in October 2024 to Verona from Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and Newcastle International Airports, giving travelers and agents more choices for late Summer.
For Summer 2025, they’re also extending the season to Verona with flights timed for Easter from Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Manchester. In response to the demand for late Summer in Verona and Lake Garda, Jet2 has added more September and October 2025 flights from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and Newcastle International.
In total, this announcement adds 20,000 outbound seats. Here’s a breakdown of the additional flights and holidays available by UK airport:
