Jetstar Asia unveils new CEO for future leadership

After leading Jetstar Asia as Chief Executive Officer for almost 12 years, Barathan Pasupathi will be resigning from his position to explore new prospects starting from March 1, 2024.

Jetstar Asia has revealed that John Simeone will take over as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore-based budget airline. Currently residing in Singapore, John presently serves as Qantas’ Senior Vice President for Asia. With a remarkable career spanning more than three decades in the aviation sector, he has garnered extensive expertise in various critical areas such as Network Planning, Revenue Management, and Sales within leading airline operations.
