Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai is set to host its inaugural dessert degustation event in Central Vietnam, titled “An Evening of Sweet Soirée,” featuring renowned dessert artist Chef Kevin Lopes. Scheduled for April 22 and 23, 2024, from 8:00 to 10:00 pm at NAYUU, the Resort’s newly launched Japanese omakase restaurant.

The event will offer an intimate communal dining experience for up to 16 guests per night. Attendees will embark on a culinary journey through a seven-course artistry dessert menu, curated by Chef Kevin, featuring delightful sweet treats paired with fine dessert wine and premium champagne selections such as Taittinger Nocturne, Kir Royal, and Chateau Nairac Barsac. Chef Kevin’s desserts are crafted from scratch, utilizing local ingredients and unique culinary techniques to ensure maximum freshness and sustainability.

NAYUU will collaborate with five globally renowned chefs to share their culinary expertise, creating refined menus that showcase the quintessential five tastes of Japanese cuisine: sweet, salty, bitter, sour, and umami. This event with Chef Kevin Lopes marks the beginning of a series featuring visiting chefs who will explore the sweet sense, Amai, in its aromatic and luxurious form.

Chef Kevin Lopes, with years of training and Michelin-starred experience in hotel and restaurant kitchens across Europe and the Middle East, infuses elements of the destination into his pastries and desserts. Drawing inspiration from Vietnam’s exotic flavors and the vibrant colors of local ingredients, he creates a unique and unforgettable culinary experience.

If you’re keen on experiencing Chef Kevin’s artistry firsthand, the dessert degustation experience is priced at VND 6,000,000 nett per person, while a seven-course dessert indulgence costs VND 3,000,000 nett per person. Additionally, a variety of a la carte beverage options will be available for guests looking for more drink selections.
