Kishtwar introduces adventure sports activities

The authorities in Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir has recently introduced adventure and sports activities with the aim to promote tourism. This move was adopted to attract travellers from far as well as near the valley. The District Development Commissioner of Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, was present at the inauguration ceremony. At the Chowgam grounds, the event is being arranged by the Kishtwar Development Authority.

On the first day, the authorities said that the zorbing ball adventure was launched for public. In addition to, in the forthcoming days, other adventure activities like trampoline, sky jumpers, and paragliding will be introduced.
The commissioner while his gratefulness said that the township of Kishtwar and other areas have immense possibility when it comes to paragliding. It should be explored in the right way.

This unravelled jewel of Kashmir is famous for its saffron productions and is known as the Land of Sapphire. Kishtwar is situated 235 kms from Jammu. It brags of some of the most jaw-dropping sceneries like the soaring snow-covered mountains, beautiful rivers and expansive valleys. One will be astonished to see the stunning grasslands of exotic flowers, fruit orchards and green lands.

Also, this place is an ideal spot for adventure activities considering its topography. Here, the Paddar and Wadhwan Valleys are known for rock climbing and paragliding activities. Also, one can take enjoyment of trekking in the region. One of the most famous treks takes one through Paddar Valley to Zanskar Valley.
