Korean Air Breaks New Ground: Direct Integration with DHL Global Forwarding

Korean Air has recently announced a significant milestone by integrating its cargo booking system with DHL Global Forwarding. This marks the airline’s inaugural direct connection with a freight forwarder, streamlining the process for both parties involved. Through this integration, DHL Global Forwarding gains the ability to reserve cargo space on Korean Air flights directly from its own system.

Utilizing an API (Application Programming Interface) system, customers now have the convenience of making reservations directly through their own platforms, eliminating the necessity to access the airline’s system separately. This integration not only enhances workflow efficiency but also facilitates real-time data exchange between airlines and customers, simplifying access to flight schedules and air cargo rates.

Aligned with the ongoing digital evolution within the industry, Korean Air remains committed to improving efficiency and enriching the customer experience. By actively embracing and implementing technological advancements, the airline underscores its dedication to delivering tailored services that cater to a diverse range of customer requirements.
