The 9th Annual Home + History Las Vegas is thrilled to unveil a host of new tours and activities, expanding its already diverse program. Mark April 25-28 on your calendars for a heritage festival that showcases Las Vegas in a whole new light.

This four-day series of events grants attendees a rare glimpse into the iconic residences and venues pivotal to Las Vegas’ history. With over 40 events on the agenda, participants have a wide array of choices, including expert-led tours, informative sessions, scenic drives, cocktail parties, and more. The festivities begin on Thursday, April 25, with a complimentary happy hour at Frankie’s Tiki Room, and a celebratory Clark County Commission proclamation at the Cue Club in honor of its 60th anniversary within the historic Commercial Center district.

This year’s festival introduces several notable additions, such as the Work, War, and Luxury: Historic Huntridge and Marycrest Districts Walking Tour, showcasing the distinguished residents, celebrities, and entrepreneurs of Las Vegas’ post-war boom and the evolution from Minimalism to Mid-Century Modern design. The Hidden + Unique Fremont Street Walking Tour will uncover a trove of rare finds, peculiar artifacts, and hidden gems, including Las Vegas’ very first hotel room, ending with a tribute cocktail or beverage at Vegas Vickie’s elegant lounge in the Circa Resort.

The highlight of the weekend, a cocktail gala fundraiser, will be hosted by the NPF at the Plaza Hotel & Casino on Saturday, April 27, from 7-10 p.m. Celebrating the Plaza’s opening year of 1971, the Vintage Vegas Variety Hour + Cocktail Gala promises live music, entertainment in a quintessentially retro showroom, and an exclusive tour of the Plaza’s historic features.

Additionally, a series of educational sessions aims to enlighten those interested in retro home ownership and design. Events like Bringing Your Vintage Dream to Life: Sourcing for Your Period Renovation will offer advice on finding period-specific renovation materials. Gardening enthusiasts can look forward to Re-Imagined Gardens for Mid-Century Homes at the Cactus Club, situated in the John S. Park Historic District, to learn about creating lush, water-wise gardens. At Amazing Interiors: MidMod Crisis Edition, celebrated designer Chris Cope will offer vintage interior design tips from his exquisitely designed home. For history buffs, Behind the Barriers: An Insider’s View of the Clark County Museum offers a curator-led tour of the archives and seldom-seen collections.

Exclusive room rates are available at the Plaza Hotel & Casino for festival goers, subject to availability. To book, call (800) 634-6575 with the code SEEHHLV or visit the Nevada Preservation Foundation’s website for direct booking. Home + History Las Vegas invites people of all ages to partake in its unique blend of experiences and explorations. Tickets start at $15.
