L’Éclair de Genie, a globally renowned pastry brand, has chosen Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) for its first airport outlet, in collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail and celebrated French pastry chef Christophe Adam. This partnership aims to enrich the culinary journey of travelers with a selection of the world’s finest pastries, including the brand’s signature eclairs, freshly made viennoiseries, and macarons. Additionally, it will offer specialty coffees, organic teas, and a savory menu of fresh salads, sandwiches, and naan wraps.

This opening at DXB represents a significant and strategic milestone in the brand’s expansion, especially in a vibrant and dynamic city like Dubai. Chef Christophe Adam, known for revolutionizing the traditional French éclair with innovative flavors and artistic presentation, has long aspired for a presence in a major travel retail hub. The new café at one of the world’s largest air hubs is a realization of a decade-long dream, promising to deliver a Parisian gourmet experience to the global audience at DXB.

The café introduces an elegant Parisian flair to DXB’s Terminal 3, where travelers can enjoy these culinary delights on-site or take them away in beautifully designed packaging. Seasonal offerings, including a special Ramadan éclair collection, aim to cater to diverse tastes and celebrate cultural occasions.

Vadim Motlik, CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail UAE, expressed excitement about bringing L’Éclair de Genie to DXB, highlighting the brand as a beacon of gourmet luxury that enhances the airport’s dining experience. The goal is to make this premium dining concept accessible to international passengers, further establishing DXB’s commitment to providing unique and memorable experiences.

Alison Macdonald, vice president of commercial concession management at Dubai Airports, also welcomed the brand, noting the addition as a step towards transforming and elevating the airport’s dining offerings. The collaboration not only showcases French pastry artistry but also integrates local flavors into its seasonal editions, inviting travelers to explore celebrated tastes from around the region.
