Aman at Sea is expanding into the luxury cruise sector through the launch of Amangati, its first purpose-built vessel, and the introduction of its inaugural Caribbean voyage collection for late 2027. The new programme will feature luxury sailings across the Leeward Islands, Windward Islands and Dutch Caribbean, culminating in an exclusive two-night New Year celebration in Nevis, marking a major milestone in the brand’s entry into high-end ocean travel.

Aman at Sea has unveiled the first Caribbean deployment for Amangati, the inaugural vessel in its new luxury maritime collection. The ship, currently being built at Italy’s T. Mariotti shipyard, is expected to begin operations in the Mediterranean during spring 2027 before embarking on a series of Caribbean sailings later in the year.

Scheduled between November 21, 2027, and January 2, 2028, the Caribbean programme will feature a selection of five- to eight-night voyages across some of the region’s most desirable destinations. The itineraries have been carefully designed to connect travellers with the natural beauty, secluded beaches and vibrant cultures of the Antilles while offering access to ports and anchorages that are often beyond the reach of larger cruise ships.

The inaugural season will be divided into three distinct cruising regions: the Leeward Islands, the Windward Islands and the Dutch Caribbean. Together, these routes will provide a diverse range of experiences spanning the northern and southern Caribbean.

Discovering the Leeward Islands

The first voyages of the Caribbean season will focus on the Leeward Islands, a region renowned for turquoise waters, dramatic coastlines and elegant island communities.

Guests will travel through destinations including Saint Barthélemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Barbuda, Anguilla and Sint Maarten. The itineraries also include visits to smaller islands such as Saba and Montserrat, alongside stops in the British Virgin Islands at Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda.

These voyages are designed to blend relaxation with exploration. Beach days, marina experiences and time spent in quiet island settings will allow travellers to experience the Caribbean at a slower and more immersive pace. The combination of famous destinations and lesser-known gems creates a balanced journey through the northern Caribbean.

Exploring the Windward Islands

A second collection of itineraries will navigate the Windward Islands, taking guests deeper into the southern Caribbean.

Departing from Saint John’s and Bridgetown, the voyages will connect several of the region’s most scenic destinations. Stops include the picturesque Îles des Saintes in Guadeloupe, the lush landscapes of Dominica, the coastal beauty of Martinique and the iconic waterfront surroundings of Saint Lucia.

Further south, the ship will call at Canouan in the Grenadines and Saint George’s in Grenada. These destinations are known for their tropical scenery, rich heritage and relaxed atmosphere, providing guests with opportunities to experience the character of each island in greater depth.

Highlights include visits to Bonaire’s renowned marine environments and Willemstad, famous for its colourful architecture and waterfront setting. The itineraries also feature a stop at Tobago Cays, one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated island groups, known for its protected waters and pristine natural surroundings.

These routes combine cultural exploration with opportunities to enjoy the region’s beaches, marine life and island traditions.

A New Year Celebration at Sea

The inaugural Caribbean season will conclude with a special New Year experience in Nevis. Amangati will spend two nights anchored at a private resort location, allowing guests to welcome 2028 in an exclusive island setting.

The extended stay is intended to create a memorable finale to the vessel’s first Caribbean season while offering a relaxed and festive atmosphere at one of the region’s most tranquil destinations.

From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean

Before arriving in the Caribbean, Amangati will complete a series of Mediterranean voyages during autumn 2027. These sailings will explore destinations across Greece, the Adriatic coastline, Sicily, Italy, the French Riviera and Spain.

Following the Mediterranean season, the vessel will undertake a 13-night transatlantic journey from Málaga to Antigua. The crossing will include calls in Cádiz, Ponta Delgada and the Azores, combining ocean travel with a wellness-focused onboard experience.

With a launch programme spanning the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the Caribbean, Amangati is set to begin service with a diverse collection of voyages that showcase some of the world’s most celebrated coastal destinations while introducing Aman’s vision for luxury travel at sea.
