Guests can savour Sabudana Vada and Koshimbir, two much-loved Maharashtrian preparations known for their simplicity, freshness and traditional appeal. These dishes set the tone for a festive meal inspired by the comforting flavours of home-style cooking.

The main course features an impressive selection of regional specialities, including Bhoplyachi Bhaji, Kala Vatanayachi Bhaji and Batatachi Bhaji. Each preparation highlights the diversity of Maharashtrian cuisine, where locally inspired ingredients and traditional cooking methods create rich and memorable flavours.

The feast is further enhanced with popular staples such as Amti and Masale Bhaat, bringing together the distinctive balance of spices, textures and aromas that define Maharashtra’s culinary traditions. These dishes represent the essence of festive dining, where every preparation carries a sense of nostalgia and cultural connection.

Sweet Traditions Complete The Festive Dining Experience

No Ganeshotsav celebration is complete without traditional sweets, and ‘Bappa’s Bombay Lunch’ concludes with a selection of iconic Maharashtrian desserts. Guests can enjoy Mawa Modak, Ukadiche Modak and Shrikhand, each representing the deep cultural connection between festivals and sweet culinary traditions.

The modak, especially associated with Lord Ganesha celebrations, holds a special place during Ganeshotsav. By featuring both Mawa Modak and Ukadiche Modak, the menu celebrates different interpretations of this cherished festive favourite.

The dessert selection is complemented by Piyush, a refreshing Maharashtrian beverage known for its rich flavour and smooth texture. Together, the sweets and beverage create a memorable finale that reflects the joy, devotion and celebration surrounding Ganeshotsav.

Mumbai’s Favourite Flavours Reimagined Through A Luxury High Tea Experience

Alongside the traditional lunch experience, ITC Grand Central introduces ‘Bappa’s Bombay High Tea’ at Frederick’s Lounge, offering a creative and contemporary interpretation of Mumbai’s vibrant food culture.
