This represents an improvement of about 75%.
For tourists, this means quicker transfers between key districts, hotels and attractions. Faster road movement can also benefit airport transfers, tourism buses, taxis and rental vehicle users who depend on reliable connections across Dubai. The project will also increase Oud Maitha Road capacity from approximately 10,400 vehicles per hour in both directions to around 15,600 vehicles per hour. A newly opened three-lane bridge connects traffic travelling from Al Khail Road towards Al Asayel Street through Al Wasl Club Street.
