Malaysia Airlines and Le Méridien Putrajaya celebrate Chinese New Year with exclusive culinary partnership

As the Chinese New Year approaches, Malaysia Airlines, in collaboration with Le Méridien Putrajaya, is excited to welcome the Year of the Dragon with an exclusive dining experience. From February 9 to 14, 2024, travelers can savor a specially crafted menu at the airline’s Golden Lounges located in KLIA Terminal 1.

During this festive period, guests at the Golden Lounge Satellite, Golden Lounge Regional, and Golden Lounge Domestic will have the pleasure of enjoying a unique menu designed by Chef Lim Kian Ming, the Executive Chinese Chef at Le Mei Chinese Restaurant of Le Méridien Putrajaya. This menu is set to offer a culturally rich and unforgettable dining experience.

The buffet will feature a wide range of carefully selected dishes, such as crispy chicken with a balsamic vinegar sweet and sour sauce, stir-fried mee hoon with an extraordinary sauce, and a wholesome braised crab meat soup with fish maw and dried scallops. Additional highlights include halibut fillet with honey soy sauce, braised bean curd with wild mushrooms, and braised ginkgo nuts with bean curd skin and seasonal vegetables.

For those dining in the Platinum Lounge (Satellite), there will be exclusive dishes like pan-fried cuttlefish cake, Canada codfish fillet with honey soy sauce, and a dessert of chilled mango puree with vanilla ice cream, pomelo, and sago – all adding to the festive cheer.
