Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the umbrella organization encompassing Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASwings, Enrich, and Journify, is poised to make its most significant presence yet at the upcoming MATTA Fair, scheduled from March 22nd to 24th, 2024, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.
As the principal sponsor of MATTA Fair, MAG is unveiling the MAG Arena, spanning an expansive 9,000 square feet, promising an elevated experience for attendees. Within the Arena, guests will discover an array of engaging activity zones, each offering unique surprises. Expect exclusive deals, immersive experiences, and glimpses into never-before-seen onboard offerings.
Attendees can anticipate enticing airfare discounts and the eagerly awaited Buyers’ Contest, where MAG airlines will be offering 30 return tickets, including Business Class tickets to London and Ahmedabad, India, as well as Economy Class tickets to various destinations such as China and Vietnam. Additionally, those booking MAG airline tickets stand a chance to win complimentary Business Class upgrades.
Moreover, guests can enjoy savings of up to 30% on airfares for both domestic and international travel until March 20th, 2025. This exclusive offer is available at the physical fair at MITEC Kuala Lumpur and online until March 30th, 2024. Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, and MASwings are also offering discounts of up to 25% on ancillary products, including seat selection and extra baggage. Enrich members will benefit from additional perks such as extra discounts and bonus Enrich Points on Malaysia Airlines flights.
In anticipation of the Hari Raya celebration, Malaysia Airlines is adding approximately 190 extra flights from Kuala Lumpur to all domestic destinations, including Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Labuan, Sandakan, Tawau, Kuching, Miri, and Sibu, with 75 of these flights scheduled as red-eye flights. Special fixed fares are available for these red-eye flights, offering affordable rates starting from RM216 to Kota Bharu, RM319 to Kuching, and RM389 to Kota Kinabalu, all-inclusive for one-way travel.
Customers can also benefit from festive subsidies provided by the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, with special fixed fares capped at RM599* base fare one-way on economy class for flights departing from Kuala Lumpur and Penang to Sabah and Sarawak via Malaysia Airlines and Firefly. These fixed fares are applicable from Kuala Lumpur for travel three days before the festive date.
