Malaysia mosque prohibits visitorsThe two women in shorts and with bare midriffs were filmed dancing on a wall in front of the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque on Borneo Island.

 
Administrative representatives are trying to spot the pair who has been described as foreigners of East Asian appearance.

 
An spokesperson from the tourism ministry of the Sabah state said the video showed a “lack of respect to our Muslim worshippers as well as the hospitality extended” to the visitors. The chairman of the mosque on Sunday said that public transport would not be permitted to bring visitors within the mosque compound. However, it was further added that there would be additional discussions with tour agencies to put off similar incidents.

 
Overseas visitors coming to the mosques in Malaysia are suggested to dress modestly.

 
Nevertheless, this is not the first time foreigners have experienced problem for offending public sensitivities in Sabah state.
