Marriott Hotels, the flagship brand of Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive collection of over 30 hotel brands, has announced the opening of Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa on Perhentian Kecil Island in Terengganu, Malaysia’s East Coast. Situated within the stunning Perhentian Island Marine Park, this marks the brand’s first venture into Terengganu. Drawing upon its esteemed heritage, the new resort invites guests to immerse themselves in the allure of a tropical retreat, surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty including marine biodiversity, pristine beaches, and crystal-clear waters, all intertwined with the captivating traditions of Malaysian culture.
Positioned on the northwest coast of Perhentian Kecil Island, the resort is conveniently accessible via ferry from Kuala Besut Jetty, just an hour’s drive from Kota Bharu city.
