Minor Hotels Introduces Ammarawadee Cheowit as GM of NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort

Minor Hotels has officially named Ammarawadee Cheowit as the General Manager of NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort, marking the introduction of the NH Hotel brand to Thailand and Asia. Located on Phuket’s east coast within the lively Boat Lagoon marina, just a 20-minute drive from Phuket Town, this resort features 271 well-appointed rooms and suites.

With more than 13 years of experience in hotel management, Amma has successfully led teams at a variety of hotels, from boutique to luxury establishments, in Thailand’s top tourist spots, including Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phuket, and Hua Hin. Her tenure as General Manager at OZO Chaweng Samui, part of ONYX Hospitality, has notably enhanced her skills in comprehensive hotel and personnel management.

Amma has achieved significant academic success, with a Micro MBA in Marketing from Chulalongkorn University, an MBA in Marketing from Ramkhamhang University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in English, from Thammasat University. She also contributes to academia as a part-time lecturer in the Information Technology Management Faculty at NIDA University, Bangkok, where she teaches Marketing Management, highlighting her commitment to education and nurturing new talent.

Her diverse career background, which spans banking, customer service, and sales and marketing before entering the hospitality sector, has given her a broad perspective and a solid foundation of skills. In the hospitality industry, she has honed her abilities in social network marketing, e-commerce, revenue management, budgeting, and profit and loss management, while also being recognized for her creative and innovative approaches.

NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort offers a variety of amenities, including a selection of rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby café, a swimming pool with a bar, a gym, a tennis court, and a kids’ club.
