Munich Airport introduces new summer flight plan

Munich Airport has made an announcement regarding the commencement of its summer flight timetable, which is scheduled to run from March 31 until October 26, 2024. This new schedule is set to feature more than 3,300 weekly departures, indicating a notable 12% increase in comparison to the figures from the previous year.

The upcoming schedule boasts an extensive network of flights to 160 destinations across the globe. This includes over 100 destinations located in Europe and the Mediterranean area, in addition to 47 intercontinental destinations that span regions such as Asia, North and Central America, and Africa.

Among the significant new routes introduced, Lufthansa is highlighted for launching services to Seattle and Johannesburg. Additionally, Delta Airlines is set to commence operations to New York, and Vietnam Airlines will be introducing its inaugural flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Lufthansa is further committed to providing daily services to Beijing and Osaka. Emirates is also mentioned for its offer of two daily A380 services to Dubai.

Furthermore, the announcement includes information about Discover, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, which is poised to serve 23 vacation destinations. New services are also being introduced by several airlines including Norwegian, Air Montenegro, SkyAlps, and Universal Air, all of which are set to operate out of Munich Airport.
